The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns โ€“ both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members โ€“ with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.


Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.


Position Summary: The DCCC is hiring multiple Regional Data Associates for the 2026 election cycle. The Regional Data Associates will work with the Campaigns Data Director as well as the Organizing, Voter Protection, and Analytics teams to manage the flow of data between various data systems, voter files, voter contact tools, and vendors to help the DCCCโ€™s organizing program. The Regional Data Associates will also serve as a help desk for congressional campaigns as they execute organizing programs, providing both training and general assistance to organizers and other campaign staff as they execute programs. The Regional Data Associate is an entry-level position that will serve a vital role in ensuring that organizing, voter protection, and data programs run efficiently in support of the DCCCโ€™s mission to win the House majority.


This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.

Requirements:
  • Managing day-to-day voter file administration and front-end voter file operations for multiple campaigns, including:
    • Managing user profiles
    • Upholding and maintaining data standards and systems
    • Auditing data
    • Setting up report formats and scripts
    • Troubleshooting data errors
  • Provide technical assistance and training to voter file end users, including trouble-shooting problems with vendors, organizing staff, technical staff and external stakeholders (state parties)
  • Migrating data between various data systems, voter contact tools, and vendors, including bulk uploading and exporting of data
  • Working directly with DCCC regional analytics, voter protection, and organizing staff to ensure campaigns are targeting the correct voters and that the program is running correctly
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Although one cycle (2 years) of campaign experience is preferred, candidates wishing to learn campaign data who display an aptitude for data and Democratic campaigns are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience with web-based voter file platforms such as VAN, Catalist, or PDI strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with campaign organizing activities such as canvassing, phone banking, text banking or volunteer recruitment is required
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets is required
  • Familiarity with SQL, R, or Python is required
  • Interest in learning other programming languages like Python and deepening technical skills
  • A demonstrable ability to train a wide audience on technical procedures in a clear, step-wise manner
