Weโ€™re hiring Entry-Level Data Center Cabling Technicians to help build one of the largest data center campuses in the region. If youโ€™re interested in technology, networking, infrastructure, or eventually pursuing certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Fiber certifications, this role gives you real-world experience inside mission-critical technology environments.

This is not a desk job. Youโ€™ll work hands-on in active data center construction environments, learning the physical side of IT and network infrastructure that keeps the digital world running.

No prior telecom or data center experience required โ€” we train motivated people who are ready to learn.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

Youโ€™ll work alongside experienced technicians supporting large-scale data center infrastructure projects.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Pull copper and fiber optic cabling across large commercial environments
  • Assist with building and organizing server racks and network cabinets
  • Learn fiber termination and punch-down techniques
  • Route and dress cable using J-hooks, fish tape, D-rings, and cable management systems
  • Support grounding, fire-stopping, and low-voltage installations
  • Follow blueprints, layouts, and project documentation
  • Assist team leads with infrastructure installations and project tasks
  • Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites

Skills Youโ€™ll Learn

This role is designed for people who want a future in technology and infrastructure. Youโ€™ll gain experience in:

โœ… Data center infrastructure installation

โœ… Blueprint reading and technical documentation

โœ… Telecom color codes and termination methods

โœ… Networking foundations and physical layer infrastructure

โœ… Construction safety and industry standards

โœ… Professional job site experience on large-scale tech projects

This experience pairs extremely well with future IT certifications like:

  • CompTIA A+
  • Network+
  • Security+
  • BICSI Certifications
  • Fiber Optic Certifications

Who Weโ€™re Looking For

Great Fit For Candidates Who:
  • Want hands-on tech experience outside of retail/help desk roles
  • Enjoy working with tools and learning technical skills
  • Are interested in networking, telecom, or infrastructure careers
  • Work well in fast-paced team environments
  • Want a long-term career path with growth opportunities
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience using basic hand tools preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work on your feet throughout the day
  • Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Work Environment & Schedule

Schedule
  • Full-time hours
  • Flexibility required based on project demands
  • Occasional 10โ€“12 hour shifts
  • Some 6-day workweeks during peak production periods
Environment
  • Large-scale data center construction site
  • Indoor industrial setting
  • Active, physical, hands-on work environment

This role combines technology infrastructure with commercial construction, making it ideal for someone who wants a more active, hands-on path into tech.

Why Join This Team?

โœ… Paid on-the-job training

โœ… Work on massive, cutting-edge data center projects

โœ… Gain experience with real-world network infrastructure

โœ… Strong career growth opportunities

โœ… Learn from experienced telecom and infrastructure professionals
