Job description

Big data is our business. At Data Trust, we provide the best political data in the market through our premier national voter file, combined with expansive consumer data inventories and individualized analytical models. We are enabling our right-of-center clients to create a data-first strategy.
Job Summary
Our Data Quality and Development Coordinator will work within our broader data team to cleanse, standardize, and maintain large data sets for the National Voter File with a high degree of accuracy. This entry-level role is focused on executing established workflows under the guidance of senior team members. This role reports to the Data Quality and Development Manager.
Responsibilities
  • Use SQL to standardize and finalize data sets to match existing data structures
  • Identify errors in data sets and escalate findings with proposed fixes to avoid future issues
  • Update internal databases and data sets with voter data information for department, company-wide, and client use
  • Push voter data to various internal databases following established procedures
  • Assist in the preparation and formatting of data for downstream use by other departments
  • Perform other related tasks as requested by other departments, management, and leadership

Skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and problem-solve effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products

Qualifications
  • Experience using SQL
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Statistics, or related field
  • Previous technical internship or related experience, preferred
  • Experience with other programming languages (Python, SQL or similar), preferred
  • Familiarity or interest in right-of-center and Republican politics and elections
