Acoustical Sheetmetal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers. We offer sound-attenuated and weather-protective packaging for on-site power generation equipment, with products ranging from economical skin-tight enclosures to entire multi-unit power plants.

Role Overview

As an Electrician II at ASC, you'll play a key role in bringing our custom-engineered products to life. You'll work alongside talented fabricators, welders, mechanics, and engineers to install and troubleshoot electrical systems that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibility

  • Installing electrical components, wiring, conduit, and control systems
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying effective solutions
  • Performing electrical testing and inspections
  • Assisting with equipment startup and commissioning
  • Supporting manufacturing operations by maintaining safe and reliable electrical systems
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Following all safety procedures and best practices
  • Assisting with field installations and customer site support when needed

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training
  • 0–10+ years of electrical experience (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply)
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and schematics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces when required
  • Ability to safely work around electrical equipment and machinery
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Commercial or industrial electrical experience
  • Journeyman Electrician License
  • Experience with generators, controls, or manufacturing equipment
  • Experience working with both low-voltage and high-voltage systems
  • Experience having working knowledge of bending conduit
  • Forklift, lift equipment, or rigging experience
