Job description

Why this job is important to us
  • The client solutions team works on a variety of projects related to active deals and strategic initiatives. The team works closely with sales teams and SMEs from both Alpha and CRD to help design solutions for prospects and clients. Historically, the team has also been involved with the deal pricing process and plays a role in sourcing metrics needed for pricing estimation. The team is often pulled in to help on Request for Proposals (RFP's) for potential new clients and actively supports content creation in the Lexicon database. Additionally, the team supports Alpha demo initiatives and creation of new demo content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Design on active Alpha deals - work on entire deal process
    • Service Definition support
    • Client discovery calls
    • Weekly update calls with clients; updating weekly dashboards used during client meetings
    • Development of client future state operating model and materials
  • RFPs
    • Assist in the sourcing of answers and positioning RFP questions related to Alpha services
    • Lead collaboration efforts across Alpha Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Demo initiatives
    • New video content creation - Alpha demos and presentations highlighting Alpha value prop
    • Provide expertise on the Consensus demo tool and support use of the tool for business cases and industry events; liaise with Consensus vendor support team
    • Support live client demos
  • Metrics Gathering/client reports
    • Involves data collection, aggregation and analysis for Alpha clients
  • Ad-hoc projects such as the creation of an internal newsletter for use across the global client solutions team, total cost of ownership analysis, etc.

Required Skills
  • Understanding of financial markets
    • This helps with comprehension of topics discussed during deal solutioning
  • Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally to support technical concepts
    • There's a lot of interaction with different solution owners, SMEs, and sometimes clients
    • A lot of this role involves listening to how a client's current process works and their requirements for a future state solution to then determine how to integrate these processes with Alpha and align client requirements to our standard Alpha solution.
  • Enthusiasm for learning, an innovative mindset and commitment to career development
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to multi-task, quickly pivot and learn new topics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Highly organized and detail oriented

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $113,750 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
