Job Summary

This position requires an analytically focused individual who is eager to study and take part in supply chain projects for BlueGrace customers.  The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of work experience in a supply chain engineering or analyst position. At this stage, Engineers will be expected to tackle a large variety of projects for customers and potential customers.  This individual will frequently find themselves working with extremely large data sets, collected from a variety of sources.  They will be required to normalize and diagnose this data, and then identify potential customer solutions.

Duties and responsibilities:

Someone in this role will find themselves spend most of their time in spreadsheets, rating programs, and other types of data management tools.

  • Some of the duties include but are not limited to:
    • Querying shipment data from multiple systems.
    • Rating shipments with different rating softwares.
    • Managing data sources to support dashboards.
    • Auditing contract accuracy.

Someone in this role will need a strong understanding of Supply Chain Solutions including (but not limited to):

  • Mode Conversion
  • Shipment Aggregation
  • Route Optimization
  • Inventory Placement Modelling
  • Pool Points
