Job description

Data Clerk


Responsibilities
• Process daily customer orders with accuracy using a 10-key system
• Perform data entry and maintain organized records
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers
• Make outbound customer calls as needed
• Assist customers with placing orders and provide outstanding customer service
• Enter and post daily Accounts Receivable transactions
• Prepare weekly customer statements
• Assist with daily invoicing as need
• File and organize office documents
• Assist with basic website updates
• Assist with sales/marketing tasks
• Cross-train in multiple office functions
• Complete additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 10-key and typing skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional phone and email etiquette
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Entry level 1-2+ years experience in customer service and accounting or marketing
• High school diploma or equivalent
