Job Duties
  • Under direct supervision, the Production Planner is responsible for production order management and daily execution on the shop floor
  • This job is the first level in the Manufacturing Scheduling job family
  • At this level, the Production Planner has limited autonomy to deviate from established processes, but is expected to develop their understanding of the principles necessary to exercise such judgment at the upper levels of the Manufacturing Scheduling job family
  • Experience with production planning, scheduling, and tracking priorities in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to create, document, and improve processes to support operational efficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts, and data analysis 
  • Ability to generate, analyze, and present reports to support business decisions and operational performance 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Understanding of KPIs, inventory accuracy, and planning metrics preferred
Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years working in manufacturing, procurement, or customer service; previous manufacturing or production planning experience preferred
