Job description

This is an administrative support role in a delivery office setting. The Delivery Check-In Associate handles the delivery check-in process, routine clerical work, answers phones, files, verifies delivery completion and compliance items are met and handles data entry. Supports the work of Corporate Operations staff. This is a Full Time, entry level position. The hours are 9:30am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday. Hourly/non-exempt

Essential Functions:
  • Follows all processes as communicated by the Corporate office related to the delivery checkin process.
  • Verifies delivery completion.
  • Monitors delivery completion and related compliance requirements.
  • Proactively monitors delivery scheduled and reschedules stops per directives.
  • Handles closing emails for locations.
  • Maintains contact with Operations Managers to apprise of truck/delivery status throughout the evening.
  • Responsible for handling routine clerical work relative to the overall general office operation.
  • Maintains systems/software as needed or directed.
  • Responsible for daily and/or routine review of delivery numbers as directed.
  • Answers phones, handles/routes calls. All location phones are routed to Delivery CheckIn upon facility evening closure.
  • Handles paperwork filing.
  • Handles daily data entry.
  • Handles customer inquiries, resolves or directs as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Required Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates preferred.
  • Excel: Must be highly proficient in Excel.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • 2+ years in Microsoft Office, excel, google docs.
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge helpful.
  • 1+ years customer service.
  • 1+ years in call center or office setting.
  • 2+ years in delivery or logistics setting
  • Able to quickly learn new software applications. Must be computer literate.
  • Previous experience in administrative support role.
