Job description

Serves as an entry level Intelligence Analyst providing data analysis, including identifying and recognizing trends across data sets, locations, targets, etc.

Compiles data from multiple sources.

Monitors and assesses data for accuracy, integrity, authenticity, expectancy, timeliness, relevancy, intelligence gaps, and viability.

Participates as part of a group to determine relevancy of investigative information as related to priority requirements and organize and conduct detailed examinations of information gathered during complex criminal and civil investigations.

Participates-in formal and informal briefings.

Participates as part of a group in the development methodology to exploit investigative information, to include conducting periodic progress reviews, as well as coordinating and completing quality control of all work products.

Reports individual findings on an ongoing basis to lead personnel.

Performs data entry as needed from hard copy and soft copy documents into a large-scale data processing system via a keyboard device, optical character reader, or other input device to include scanners, digital cameras, and copy machines, as appropriate.

Experience using MSFT Office to include MS Excel and/or other data analytic/visualization tools in order to design and build formulas, charts, links, pivot tables, etc. and manipulating unstructured data from different platforms.
