HR Administrative Assistant ($20-22/hr)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations while assisting with basic payroll functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate who has some experience or exposure to payroll processes and is looking to grow within a professional office environment. This is a 3-4 Temp to Hire position that is onsite Schiller Park, IL on a daily basis from 8am-4:30pm. Must work every other Sat.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, scheduling, and correspondence
  • Assist with payroll processing, including timesheet collection, data verification, and record maintenance
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Support onboarding tasks such as preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating documentation
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Help manage office supplies, mail distribution, and basic office organization
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of administrative or office experience
  • Basic understanding of payroll processes or prior exposure preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
