Job Summary 

The Technician I - Quality is an entry-level role supporting process and data quality functions in an EMS manufacturing environment. This position assists in collecting, recording, and verifying quality data, ensuring documentation accuracy, and supporting process control activities under close supervision. The role builds foundational understanding of quality systems, data integrity, and continuous improvement methods while demonstrating Accountability, Unity, Respect, and Transparency.

  • Assist with quality data collection, entry, and verification in MES/ERP systems. 
  • Support basic Statistical Process Control (SPC) charting and data recording activities. 
  • Verify calibration status and proper identification of gages, tools, and test equipment. 
  • Support first article, process validation, and sampling documentation activities under guidance. 
  • Maintain accurate and legible records for quality and production traceability. 
  • Perform visual verification of process parameters (labels, lot traceability, and documentation). 
  • Assist with document control by verifying current revisions are used on the production floor. 
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and compliance with 5S, ESD, and safety protocols. 
  • Identify and escalate nonconformances or data discrepancies to Quality leadership. 
  • Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications  

  • Education- High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to follow technical instructions. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams. 
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Exposure to electronics or manufacturing environments. 
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485. 
  • Basic understanding of SPC principles or data collection methods. 
  • Experience with MES, ERP, or quality data entry systems. 

Working Hours are Monday-Thursday 6 am-3:30 pm shifts of 10 hours per day.
