We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York City or Louisville, KY. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of technology- and process-based Workday solutions. In partnership with business leaders, clients, and vendors, they will identify business needs, define process requirements and system specifications, and implement solutions.

We will count on you to:

  • Help the team translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements for HR systems

  • Provides traceability of business requirements to IT solutions and ensure system testing encompasses existing capabilities of the solution as well as future function point requirements.

  • Assist with identifying, verifying and documenting functional requirements using requirements management methodology and tools

  • Provides clear identification of data elements and data mappings/dictionaries where required.

  • Configures our Workday business processes to support the needs of the business.

  • Develops and executes of SIT test scenarios and test scripts, documents all findings according to team standards.

  • Partners with business and IT to manager scope with each release.

What you need to have:

  • 1+ year of IT experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Experience gathering IT requirements and documenting business needs.

  • Interest in or experience with HRIS and/or Workday technical work.

  • Data entry experience and familiarity with databases.

  • Strong documentation skills for issues, resolutions, process steps, and system changes.

  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills across technical and nontechnical teams.
