Transnation Title Agency is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to join our Lansing team. This position plays an important role in the title and escrow process by ensuring incoming orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

What You'll Do
  • Review incoming title and escrow orders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Enter order information into the title and escrow production system with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Contact customers and internal departments to obtain missing information and documentation.
  • Retrieve and organize property records, starter documents, and supporting information.
  • Research and obtain property tax and legal information from approved sources.
  • Maintain accurate electronic files and ensure documentation is complete.
  • Monitor the status of incoming orders and route completed files to the appropriate production team for title search and examination.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while communicating professionally with customers, lenders, real estate professionals, attorneys, and coworkers.
  • Follow company policies, underwriting requirements, and established procedures to ensure compliant order processing.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of administrative, customer service, or data entry experience.
  • Previous experience in title insurance, escrow, mortgage lending, real estate, or a related industry is preferred but no required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn new technology and title production software quickly.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
