Under the direction of the ABA Directors, the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will design, implement and oversee the delivery of behavior intervention programming for children and adolescents with Autism.Job Requirements:Master's degree in psychology or other relevant degreeBCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)BCBA OK LicensureWillingness to attend ABA related eventsWillingness to give and accept constructive feedback from peers and supervisorsGood organization and time management skillsAbility to follow through on directions in a timely mannerAbility to work cooperatively as a team memberAbility to work independentlyGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lead team membersSupervisor Responsibilities:Provide supervision and oversight of behavior technicians working with clientsAssist with training and competency checklists for new and existing behavior techniciansPrepare and conduct team meetingsAssist with disciplinary action documentation and meetings of behavior techniciansClinical Responsibilities:Implement 1:1 ABA programs to children and adolescents with AutismProvide supervision of behavior technicians, ensuring treatment qualityParticipate in training activities as neededCommunicate and collaborate with team membersEnsure timely preparation and completed progress notes to meet funder requirementsIntroduce and train new programs under direction of ABA directorManage and update client's programmingConduct VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, ALFS or other curriculum adopted by SOHDevelop functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans under guidance of ABA directorAssist with daily changes/update to the scheduleDelegate stimuli prep and other programming tasks to Lead RBTsProvides ABA direct therapy in individual and group sessions in a center-based or home-based settingUtilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clientsMaintain client confidentialityAssist BCBAs with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments as neededClinical Responsibilities, continued:Receives supervision from supervising BCBA or ABA Director for each client they work with on a regular basis to ensure program continuity and service consistencyCommunicate regularly with coworkers, supervisors, and other health care professionals to foster a collaborative environmentCoordinate and/or provide coverage when clinicians are not present for treatment sessions- including pickup, drop-off, lunches, breaks, and calloutsEnsure facility is clean, safe, and free of safety hazardsTake lead in incidents, providing support and guidance to staff as neededWork alongside BCBAs, assisting with assessments, programming and data entry, creating materials for clients ensuring efficient ABA sessionsAssist with monthly trainingsMaintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings and staff meetingsAssist in training and development of Behavior TechniciansImmediately report to BCBA or Director any incidents, grievancesProgram Responsibilities:Attend meetings, trainings, or meetings as needed to acquire further knowledgeMaintain active BCBA certificationAbility to work effectively and positively with parents to improve quality of lifeAbility to give and receive feedback from peers and supervisory staffMust maintain a professional appearancePhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
