Job description

Our client, a California based technology company specializing in networking hardware, software, telecommunications equipment and other high-technology services and products is seeking an Entry Level Data Center Technician who meets the below requirements.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Cabling and connecting Cisco routers & Switches to metal racks
  • Install, integrate various product/equipment per Build Specifications and/or Configuration Instructions.
  • Cable Management.
  • Shipping & receiving. Procurement of materials for project specific requirements.
  • Complete physical audit of equipment and accessories.
  • Perform asset tagging.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or Degree course
  • Physical Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic required.
  • Basic knowledge of Low Voltage cabling, Racking and mounting is very highly desirable.
  • Experience with operating hand tools.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
