Job description

Location: Cupertino, CA 95014
Job Type: 12 months of contract on W2
Description:
The Data Annotation team is responsible for working closely with R&D to scope projects, create the templates and guidelines, kick off the project, and ensure the quality of the annotations meets expectations. In this role you will need to work in close collaboration across teams, while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Comprehending the overall purpose of an annotation task based on requirements
Strong ability to define, design, develop and optimize data annotation workflows through anticipating potential failure
modes, analyzing edge cases, detecting anomalies, and verifying accurate trend and analysis of data.
Annotating, categorizing, and checking quality of annotated data. Providing feedback and identifying improvements
concerning processes and tools.
Recommending changes to improve efficiency
Ability to perform repeating annotation tasks with consistency, quality, and speed
Required Experience and Skills:
Excellent English-language oral and written communications skills
Previous project management experience
Capacity to multitask and manage several projects in parallel, meet deadlines and provide visibility to client and partners
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly-demanding, constantly changing environment
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Minimum 2 years in a professional environment with much of that time in a data annotation/quality assurance role
