Job Description:
Join a collaborative, technology-forward insurance organization as a Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer, where you will play a key role in supporting advanced analytics and AI-driven underwriting models. In this role, you will work with large datasets from multiple sources, building and maintaining data pipelines and models that enable product analysts, actuaries, and data scientists to generate insights and improve decision-making. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data engineering and analytics in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather, transform, and prepare data from internal and external sources for analysis and modeling.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and data models using Python and SQL.
  • Clean, validate, and ensure the integrity and quality of data used in analytics and AI models.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to test and evaluate AI algorithms and emerging AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, actuaries, and product teams to support analytics initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes, pipelines, and overall data architecture.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation (pandas, NumPy, etc.).
  • Advanced SQL skills including complex joins, aggregations, and performance tuning.
  • Understanding of data pipelines and analytics architecture.
  • Experience working in Agile or sprint-based development environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in Property & Casualty insurance, particularly small commercial lines.
  • Exposure to machine learning or AI-driven environments is a preferred.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD concepts is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Pleasenote,hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
