Summary
This position is responsible for various billing functions on the Revenue Cycle team. Knowledge of Revenue Cycle within a pharmacy would be extremely helpful in this role. Knowledge of SQL queries and database structure is required to be successful in this role. This position requires the ability to implement data standards and automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources to transform data into usable metrics.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete weekly billing functions for certain outsourced services arrangements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues to ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality checks.
  • Evaluate all billing processes for process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and issue resolutions.
  • Assist in the semi-monthly PBM Billing process, as needed.
  • Complete the weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly HealthDyne Billing Process, as needed.
  • Create and distribute other invoices as needed.
  • Advanced planning skills; must have the ability to manage tasks to successful timely conclusions.
  • Develop analytics dashboards to highlight trends in HealthDyne, PBM and other functions.
  • Support the Revenue Cycle team with other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Must possess a 4-year degree, preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics or related fields, with proven quantitative experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in healthcare or pharmacy benefits.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft SQL, R, or other data analysis tools.
  • Python experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel and Visual Studio experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Intermediate understanding of Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Advanced diligence, keeping in mind the "big picture."
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data based on results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and understand information and ideas that are presented verbally.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients. Some travel may be required.
