Job description

Responsible for data analysis, data management for the Engineering Decision Support department.
Interfaces and coordinates with counterparts in multiple operating companies to obtain required input data for analytical and technical support.
Responsible for building database libraries and assisting with data extracts and data manipulation as needed. Conducts data analysis in support of operational and planning projects.

• Interface with stakeholders to understand data needs.
• SQL expert and general understanding of databases, relationships and data integrity concept
• Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership.
• Design, build and launch new data models in production.
• Design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes in production.
• Support existing processes running in production.
PREFERRED 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN DATA ANALYSIS, DATA MANAGEMENT, AND/OR ENGINEERING. 

BACHELOR'S DEGREE/EQUIVALENT IN ENGINEERING,COMPUTER, SOFTWARE, OR RELATED TECHNICAL OR QUANTITATIVE DISCIPLINE.

MASTER’S DEGREE PREFERRED.

EXCELLENT ANALYTICAL, PROBLEM SOLVING, PRESENTATION, PROJECT MANAGEMENT,  SQL, DATA ANALYSIS TOOLS (e.g. SAS),  REPORTING TOOLS (e.g. TABLEAU, SAS VA, SPOTFIRE)

EXCELLENT HUMAN RELATIONS, ORGANIZATIONAL/TIME MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.     


  • Must have 1 year experience in data analysis, data management, and/or engineering.

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in engineering, computer, software, or related technical or quantitative discipline.

  • MASTER’S DEGREE PREFERRED.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation, project management, SQL, data analysis.

  • Excellent human relations, organizational/time management, and communication.


Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
