As an Entry Level Cyber Analyst, you'll work with clients and cross-functional teams to support requirements analysis, security documentation, testing activities, risk tracking, and solution assessment. You'll gain hands-on exposure to cybersecurity practices, modern tools, and AI-enabled workflows while building strong foundations in communication, problem-solving, professionalism, and responsible use of emerging technologies.

How You'll Make an Impact
• Develop a strong understanding of your client's industry, organization, technology landscape, and cybersecurity objectives.
• Build trusted relationships by asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, and clearly communicating ideas.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to gather, develop, validate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Analyze systems, applications, processes, or data to identify vulnerabilities, gaps, operational issues, and opportunities for security improvement.
• Support functional and integrated testing activities to help ensure solutions meet business and security requirements.
• Track and report operational risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and maintain project documentation including analysis summaries, reports, user documentation, meeting minutes, user stories, test scripts, workflows and other Agile deliverables.
• Work with project teams, technical stakeholders, and end users to ensure security considerations are understood, documented, and incorporated into business and technology solutions.
• Assist with evaluating, deploying, integrating, and maintaining software applications, cybersecurity tools, and IT services across lab and production environments.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly, translating technical concepts into language that cross-functional audiences can understand.
• Leverage modern and AI-enabled workplace tools to organize information, process security or operational data, identify trends, and support analysis tasks.
• Apply responsible AI practices by considering accuracy, privacy, security, transparency, and appropriate human oversight when using AI-enabled tools.
• Support broader project activities such as usability reviews, training materials, and other project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field with exposure to cybersecurity concepts.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• Curiosity, professionalism, and a strong desire for continuous learning.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity and complex information.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex ideas.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
• Exposure to cybersecurity concepts, security best practices, AI-enabled tools, or general technology topics through coursework, internships, research, competitions, or personal projects is preferred but not required.
• Interest in learning and responsibly using AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, and modern cybersecurity technologies to support secure analysis, documentation and solution delivery.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $52,200 - $95,700.
