The Associate Service Consultant - Annuities supports our Financial Professionals, their assistants and internal business partners in the purchase of annuities via the Annuity Order Entry platform. This individual is part of a specialized service team supporting a high volume of calls per day.

The Annuity Associate Service Representative provides exceptional support to Financial Advisors, their assistants, and internal business partners in the purchase of annuities through the Annuity Order Entry platform. This role is part of a specialized Customer Service Center team that supports an aggregate daily call volume of 500โ€“600 inbound calls. Each representative handles approximately 40โ€“50 inbound calls per day, following a structured schedule and adhering to Hours of Operation (HOO) expectations.

This position is 100% inbound call-focused, assisting Financial Advisors and their assistants with annuity-related inquiries, application processes, and corrections. Representatives answer questions regarding annuity products and policies, provide guidance on system navigation, and ensure accurate and timely resolution of issues. The role requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the annuity industry, as well as strong problem-solving skills to identify, research, and resolve technical or process-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Handle inbound calls from Financial Advisors, their assistants, and internal service partners, delivering world-class customer service.

โ€ข Support annuity application processing and resolve issues related to annuity purchases or corrections.

โ€ข Provide clear, accurate information on annuity products, policies, and system functionality.

โ€ข Follow established schedules and adhere to Customer Service Center Hours of Operation.

โ€ข Escalate complex issues when necessary and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

โ€ข Maintain detailed documentation of interactions and resolutions in compliance with company standards.

โ€ข Responsible for all functions of an Annuity Service Rep including providing exceptional customer service via incoming calls or responses to emails as it relates to Annuities processing the purchase of annuities on the Annuity Order Entry platform.

โ€ข Maintain detailed knowledge of LPL processes and system platform as they relate to Annuities.

โ€ข Maintain detailed knowledge about Annuity Products supported by the Annuity Order Entry system and be able to explain the differences between the product features.

โ€ข Collaborate with internal business partners to assist with resolving escalations, adapting to operational and compliance process changes.
