BTCM Akron is the largest blockchain data center in Akron Ohio. We are scaling operations in and are looking for talented locals to join our team.
Responsibilities:
  • This role is a combination of maintenance/preventative maintenance (70%) and IT Troubleshooting (30%)
  • Install and maintain data center devices including servers and/or software
  • Complete daily walkthroughs, inventory, and system checks
  • Maintain records of all events and logs and submit daily and weekly reports to the off-site team
  • Provide practical troubleshooting solutions and get ahead of problems before they start with basic hardware (ASIC)
  • Receive and ship data center equipment
  • Rack and install incoming equipment in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Training will be provided. Entry level candidates are welcomed
  • Ability to lift and carry 40-70 pounds
  • Ability to walk long distances (from one side of the center to the other and back frequently based on need)
  • Ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures and noisy environment
