The Industrial Security Specialist will support the Personnel Security team by interpreting and applying Defense of Defense (DoD) policies, guidance, and procedures in alignment with company policy to ensure compliance across a large, cleared employee population. This role is integral to maintaining personnel security requirements throughout the full clearance lifecycle. This is an entry-level, salaried professional contributor role reporting to the Local Site Security (LSS) Manager for day-to-day activities. The position is based on site at the McKinney, TX facility.

What You Will Do
  • Conduct indoctrinations and debriefings for DoD accesses
  • Verify citizenship
  • Process personnel clearances
  • Submit visit requests
  • Prepare adverse and reportable submissions, and
  • Perform all actions necessary to support cradle-to-grave clearance management.
  • Assist with the identification of security risks and contributing to the implementation of effective and efficient mitigation solutions of the facility industrial security programs
  • Administer security procedures, as they relate to operating in a classified environment: Clearance Processing and Management, Clearance Verifications, Classified Visit Processing, Fingerprinting, and DISS Updates
  • Provide customer service to employees related to personnel security questions and actions (e.g., Travel Reporting, Self-Reporting)
  • Work in a fast-paced schedule driven environment
  • Proactively supports multiple team areas by cross-training across Industrial Security disciplines.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Products
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and up to 1 year prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • We Prefer Degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related fields of study.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products Related training to Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), or NCMS Industrial Security Professional Certification (ISP)/

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
