This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while actively contributing to client well-being. You will operate within an outpatient office framework but will primarily engage with clients digitally. • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, establish clinical diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique goals.
• Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy tailored to clients' specific needs and situations, employing techniques that lead to measurable improvements in their mental health.
• Respond to clients facing acute mental health crises by offering immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support, ensuring their safety and stabilization.
• Maintain meticulous client documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, while upholding ethical and legal confidentiality standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, sharing insights to ensure comprehensive care and treatment continuity for clients.
• Provide education to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, actively advocating for your clients' needs and rights.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and educational opportunities to stay abreast of the latest trends in mental health therapy.

You will work with a diverse clientele that ranges from individuals dealing with anxiety and depression to families navigating complex relational dynamics. As a mental health counselor at Presence of Mind, your role is pivotal in fostering resilience and facilitating therapeutic communication that empowers clients to overcome challenges in their lives.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW) in Tennessee.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the capacity to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
• A minimum of two years' professional experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client engagement and collaboration.
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a cohesive team.
• A commitment to adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards in mental health practice.

• Previous experience in a clinical environment is highly preferred, although entry-level candidates demonstrating strong potential will also be considered.
