Summary:
Leads development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems and thermal environment to establish system design.
Leads activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirements.
Leads development, maintenance, or modification of system components' designs and proposals to provide installation and detail documentation.
Performs and documents analyses for mechanical and fluid systems components.
Manages supplier development, test, and production activities and directs supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
Prioritizes, delegates, and tracks performance and documentation of analyses of mechanisms, landing gear, and ordnance components.
Selects appropriate methods to validate or assess design of mechanical and fluid systems.
Uses CAD tools for design and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems.
Supports proposal preparation and new business development efforts.
Trains and coaches others in mechanical and fluid systems engineering.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Design engineering experience in mechanical or fluid systems.
Experience with environmental control systems or design.
Familiarity with CAD tools for mechanical design and documentation.
Experience validating and verifying mechanical and fluid system requirements.
Experience managing supplier development and production activities.
Experience documenting analyses of mechanisms, landing gear, or ordnance components.
Experience supporting proposal preparation and new business development.
Preferred: Manufacturing experience and connection to production environment.
