Job Summary:
Frequentis USA Inc. is dedicated to creating a safer world through innovative communication and information systems. The Presales Systems Engineer will design technical solutions to solve customer problems, collaborate with stakeholders, and prepare technical presentations and proposals.
Responsibilities:
• Design technical solutions that solve customer problems
• Responsible for solution cost
• Secures input from required stakeholders within the customer’s organization and adapts company solutions as necessary
• Develops solutions with the customer, the sales team, in coordination with product management
• Proactively assembles the technical solution required to address customer requirements
• Prepares and delivers technical customer presentations and demonstrations articulately and confidently
• Prepares technical solution description and feasibility studies
• Analysis competitor solutions and provide vital input to our product teams to develop our solution further
• Coordinates closely with offer management and engineering to align solution design with customers’ requirements and Frequentis standard offerings.
• Coordinates all information and project requirements to engineering and program management personnel for accurate implementation
• Responds to tender documents, writes proposals, reports, white papers and other documents
• Prioritizes efforts based on maximizing team productivity and profit
• Contributes actively to the definition of new Frequentis product features
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• Four year college degree from an accredited institution
• At least 3 years of experience in similar role
• Strong IT (hardware and software) technology background
• Ability to learn array of company products, services and system architectures adequately to apply to customer goals and requirements
• Excellent presentation and technical writing skills
• Domestic and occasional international travel required
• Prior domain knowledge
