The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer. You will participate in design, development, integration, and testing of new capabilities for several Department of Defense (DoD) products and technologies. You will use and contribute to models of real-world weapons, radars, Command & Control systems. You will independently identify and address system and software defects, demonstrate an ability to practice sound systems and software engineering discipline, and decompose complex problems to formulate solutions.
In this role, you will use model-based system engineering (MBSE) techniques to define, mature and maintain system architecture for both new and existing capabilities for several products and technologies and generating artifacts such as requirements and SysML diagrams that enable development, execution, and assessment of capabilities.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of SysML modeling tools, the analysis and decomposition of requirements, and techniques for identifying and defining a system architecture.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
