Copywriter/Proofreader Opportunity

Hybrid 4x a week onsite in Waukegan, IL

6 month contract to hire


Required Skills & Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent proofreading, editing, and attention-to-detail abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Experience with Adobe InDesign or other Adobe Creative Suite applications.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Internship or academic experience in marketing, communications, content writing, or related fields. Familiarity with email marketing and digital content creation. Experience managing data, product information, or content within spreadsheets or databases.
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Copywriter to support the development of marketing content, business communications, and product information management. This entry-level role is ideal for a candidate with strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills who is eager to gain experience in marketing and communications. The individual will work closely with the marketing team to create content, support ongoing projects, and maintain product data using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office tools.


Compensation:  

$20/hr to $30/hr.  

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. 

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
