Job description

Marketing SpecialistDescription:

The Marketing Specialist helps craft the story and voice of ModWash and execute the playbook. We believe that every positive action, no matter how small, can create a ripple effect in the world. At ModWash, this is what we call the ModDrop. As an entry-level Marketing Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on spreading that ripple by connecting with guests, communities, and future teammates through innovative and inspiring marketing strategies.  

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives that elevate the ModWash brand, promote growth, and drive engagement across digital and traditional platforms

Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and branding
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) preferred
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team
  • Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred
  • Internship or project experience in marketing or communications is a plus
Position Requirements:
  • Contribute in group discussions on goals/strategy
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Give Hutton and ModWash Marketing Support.
  • Coordinate creation of promotional materials including flyers, signage, and digital content
  • Support social media efforts by drafting ideating captions and sourcing content
  • Help manage online presence including website updates, online listings, and local event promotion
  • Collect, organize, and analyze basic marketing data to help optimize campaigns
  • Support internal and external communication efforts including email campaigns and press outreach
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives
  • Assist with organizing community events, grand openings, and promotional activities
  • Ensure brand consistency in tone, message, and visual presentation
  • Travel to local markets (up to 25%) to support events, store openings, or community initiatives
  • Create reports tracking marketing initiatives’ successes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
