Construction Laborer / Carpenter – Hurricane, WV
Pay & Schedule
· Starting pay: $16.00/hour+ based on experience and skill set
· Schedule: Monday – Friday
· Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, or until the job is completed

United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Laborer / Carpenter for a growing construction company in Hurricane, WV.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with residential remodeling experience who is looking for a long-term position with room to grow.
This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction experience, be able to work independently, and have the skills needed to support residential and commercial renovation projects.

Job Duties
· Perform residential and commercial remodeling work
· Complete demolition, site cleanup, and debris removal
· Load, unload, and stage construction materials, tools, and equipment
· Assist with drywall, flooring, framing, and other trade-related tasks
· Use basic hand tools and accurately read a tape measure
· Prepare jobsites for materials, deliveries, and project completion
· Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
· Complete project paperwork, including delivery slips and inventory lists
· Work independently and alongside a crew to complete projects efficiently
· Perform other construction-related duties as assigned

Requirements
· Minimum 2 years of residential remodeling/construction experience
· Carpentry or contractor-level experience preferred
· Previous crew lead or leadership experience is a plus
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to consistently lift 40–50 lbs.
· Ability to use basic hand tools and read a tape measure
· Valid driver’s license required
· Reliable transportation required
· Must be able to work throughout Kanawha and Putnam County areas
· Must pass a background check and drug screen
