Tired of the day to day grind of the construction site? This is a highly unique opportunity to continue to participate in the construction planning of large and complicated projects without the standard job site commitments and time requirements, allowing for a reasonable work schedule along workload flexibility.

This position will be on the front line of the evolving construction planning and project controls industry, working on major contracts with a diversified client field of established construction firms. As our operations have grown we are looking for a Project Engineer / Scheduler with 1-5 years of engineering/construction experience to join our team. Experience with scheduling programs (Primavera P6) is a plus. This person will work with our senior level staff to provide scheduling and construction project management services to our clients on multiple heavy civil and commercial construction projects. These services are offered on a project by project basis, allowing exposure and experience across our multiple services.

It is expected that this person will be trained by our senior staff and will be able to take on more and more challenging projects over time. The company has a strong promote from within sentiment and are expecting this person to grow in experience and position.

The Project Engineer / Scheduler role involves the following core competencies:

  • Ability to read and interpret contract plans and blueprints
  • Ability to interpret and understand contract specifications and project constraints

  • Ability to learn and work efficiently with computer software (Primavera P6 a plus)

This position offers a stable living location in the Agawam, MA area. The position may involve occasional one to two day travel events throughout New England and New York.


Experience:

  • Heavy civil construction: 1 year minimum (or internship) (Preferred)
  • Commercial / Facility construction: 1 year minimum (or internship) (Preferred)
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineer and/or Construction Management a plus
  • Post Graduate Experience in a Construction role (or internship)
