The Fire Alarm Service Support Technician is an entry-level position that provides hands-on training and exposure to fire alarm systems under the direct supervision of experienced technicians. The technician will assist with inspections, testing, maintenance, and basic service tasks while developing foundational skills in the fire protection industry. This position does not operate independently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist technicians with service and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Support basic troubleshooting activities under direct supervision.
  • Handle tools, materials, and equipment required for service jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Learn and apply industry standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Accurately complete basic documentation as directed by supervisor.
  • Travel to job sites as required with assigned team members.
  • Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Perform work in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
  • Travel to job sites as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior industry experience required.
  • Ability to learn technical skills and follow instructions.
