Job description

Are you artistically inclined, but also want to work outdoors on diverse projects? M3, Inc. is seeking a unique individual with a particular set of skills to lead its expanding Brick Staining Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying stain to bricks and other masonry surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of various structures. This role requires a strong aptitude for mixing colors; attention to detail; and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Expertly mix and match brick stain colors.
  • Apply stain to bricks and masonry surfaces with precision and care using appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Utilize hand tools to prepare surfaces for staining, ensuring a smooth application.
  • Collaborate with team members to estimate materials and time required for projects.
  • Travel, sometimes, overnight, will be required to cities throughout Virginia (company vehicle and gas card will be provided).

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in brick staining or related construction field is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
  • Must not be afraid of heights and have the physical stamina to work outdoors.
  • Experience with scaffolding/lift operation is a plus.
  • Strong skills in using hand tools effectively and safely.
  • Experience in construction estimating is beneficial for project planning.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a clean driving record.
