Job Description
EPS Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Specialist. This Position performs warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment's storage plan at NUWCDIVNPT warehouse facilities. Executes receiving, storage, inventory, and material expenditure functions using Navy ERP for SUBSAFE/LEVEL I/DSS-SOC material. May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Requirements
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Receive and inspect materials from supplier, carrier, storage, or customer; verify parts are correct and undamaged.
  • Offload material from delivery vehicles for freight deliveries.
  • Process receipts by material type: MILSTRIP, Classified/COMSEC, GPC/Contract, goods receipt without reference.
  • Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages; prepare TDRs, SDRs, PQDRs for nonconforming materials.
  • Validate count and package condition; identify classification; segregate multipacks; label material for storage.
  • Complete Navy ERP induction, WMFs, chain of custody forms, KSDs (DD-250, DD-1348, DD-1149).
  • Route materials to prescribed storage locations.
  • Conduct material inventory counts including stock number, part number, quantities, warehouse, and bin locations.
  • Verify physical to recorded locations and stock information.
  • Generate inventory count sheets in ERP per Government Inventory Plan or ad-hoc requests.
  • Perform physical inventory counts and labeling of OM&S-R and NWCF-SM material.
  • Examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage.
  • Identify and resolve storage and material issues toward accurate stock information.
  • Pull LX17 Inventory Reports; upload approved LX17 against inventory records.
  • Store, stack, or palletize materials IAW prescribed storage methods per Government Location Schema.
  • Store material in correct locations by Condition Code and NSN; prevent damage, deterioration, or pilferage.
  • Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials.
  • Perform warehouse maintenance: re-warehousing, rotating supplies, replacing fallen stocks, shelf-life management.
  • Assemble, install, and maintain storage aids (racks, bins, pallets).
  • Keep warehouse orderly, clean, and safe; operate Government-provided Zamboni for floor cleaning.
  • Perform COSIS processes; track and report lost/damaged material, discrepancies, hazardous material.
  • Support MHE operations as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Remove material from storage upon receipt of WMF.
  • Process WMFs, pull identified material, execute ERP issuing transactions (221, 281, 551).
  • Place material in applicable delivery staging area.
  • Identify items of stock to verify content; select appropriate containers.
  • Track disposition documentation: Bills of Lading, DD-1149, DD-1348, Demilitarization Certificates.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • One (1) or more years in a related field.

  • MILSTRIP, NAVSEA Warehouse Process Guide.
  • Logistics documentation: WMFs, DD-1149, DD-1348, DD-250, Bills of Lading, chain of custody forms.
  • Inventory management: LX17 reports, Condition Codes, NSNs, NIIN, UMM.
  • COSIS procedures, shelf-life management.
  • SUBSAFE/LEVEL I/DSS-SOC material handling.
  • Preferred Certification: OSHA forklift certification (up to 15K lbs. capacity, Class I-V and VII).
