What our technicians do:
- Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment, & test drive vehicles before and after repairs are made.
- Identify necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance needed.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection reports.
- Document services performed and steps taken to complete each repair.
- Perform services efficiently and according to dealership/manufacture guidelines.
- Estimate all necessary parts needed for each repair.
- Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Must have at least 3 years of experience as an auto technician
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented.
- Be self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with little supervision.
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
