You'll likely assist with troubleshooting minor hardware and software issues, supporting other team members, and maintaining accurate records. Many positions involve working closely with IT supervisors or more experienced colleagues, providing opportunities to learn and grow your technical skills. These foundational responsibilities help you gain practical experience and can serve as a stepping stone toward more specialized IT or computer-related positions in the future.

Job description

Entry-Level Sales Representative

Location: Frisco, TX, US, 75034
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Office Monday–Friday
Compensation: $45,000+ Base Salary + Commission

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and driven Entry-Level Sales Representative to join our team in our Frisco, TX office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is personable, professional, and eager to build a career in sales with a construction contractor specializing in modular construction for data centers and government facilities.

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing relationships with General Contractors, identifying upcoming data center and government construction opportunities, determining which projects align with our modular construction capabilities, and helping move opportunities from initial contact through proposal and contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with General Contractors, project managers, and other key decision-makers.
  • Make outbound calls and conduct regular follow-up with potential and existing clients.
  • Identify upcoming construction projects and determine whether they are opportunities the company should pursue.
  • Review project information, plans, specifications, and technical sheets to understand project requirements.
  • Coordinate internally to determine scope, pricing, and project feasibility.
  • Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.
  • Assist with contracts, paperwork, and other sales documentation.
  • Communicate confidently with high-level professionals and decision-makers.
  • Track opportunities, follow-ups, proposals, and sales activity.
  • Build a strong understanding of the company's modular construction services and effectively communicate their value to General Contractors and other clients.
  • Follow opportunities from initial lead through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Consistently pursue new business and work toward achieving sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional and confident when speaking with clients and senior-level decision-makers.
  • Driven, competitive, and motivated to succeed in a sales environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable handling paperwork, contracts, proposals, and other documentation.
  • Able to read and understand technical information and project specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable making phone calls and developing new business relationships.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn industry-specific software.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Construction or modular construction experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be available to work full-time in the Frisco, TX office Monday–Friday.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $45,000+, depending on experience.
  • Sales Commission: 4.5% of margin on sales.
  • Lease Commission: 2.5% of lease revenue.

Example: If a lease is billed at $10,000 per month, the 2.5% lease commission would be $250 for that month.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is driven, personable, professional, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate doesn't need to be an experienced salesperson—they need the ability to communicate well, build relationships, stay organized, understand construction opportunities, and have the motivation to pursue new business. Experience with data centers, government facilities, modular construction, or commercial construction is a plus, but not required.

If you're confident speaking with people, comfortable picking up the phone, and interested in building a long-term career in sales, we'd like to hear from you.
