Day in the Life of a Software/Computer Science Engineer
We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs. As an Engineer at Bell, you can expect to:
  • Develop and maintain software applications and systems
  • Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure quality
  • Prepare and update technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams for project integration

What You'll Need:
  • A bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science required
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Available to work full time, onsite starting in January 2027

What Will Make You Stand Out:
  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
  • System integration experience, integrating complex systems, including sensors, components, complex electronic hardware, and software.
  • Software / coding experience using C++, C#, Matlab and other industry standard development environments.
  • Experience with MOSA standards / processes: FACE, HOST, SOSA, RTOS, ARINC 661, ARINC 653
  • Control system design and modeling using Simulink, and implementation on hardware.
  • Knowledge and experience of the most rigorous industry standard verification and validation practices for flight critical software applications.
  • Software verification test experience in high fidelity hardware-in-the-loop (HILS) environments using integrated flight dynamic modeling of air vehicle performance.
