** Work hours are Monday - Fridays from 8am - 4pm. This will be at one of the Jim Shorkey Gainesville locations. **

**Please note that since this is an entry level position starting at $13 per hour**


What will you be doing?

An Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing and managing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment of company obligations. This role includes matching invoices to purchase orders, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end closing activities. The Accounts Payable Clerk works closely with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues, ensure compliance with company policies, and contribute to efficient financial operations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enter invoices and obtain appropriate payment approval.

Reconcile vendor statements and communicate with vendor on issues.

Maintain accurate vendor records.

Maintain schedules across multiple payment formats.

Check request processing.

Assist in monthly closings.

AP representative for assigned store support.

Assists with other office duties and special projects, as necessary.

Requirements

Highly Proficient in all Microsoft programs. (The position requires office skills including computer usage majority of the time, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams).

Meticulous attention to detail.

Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.

Proficient with computers and technology platforms.

Strong communication and social skills and receive constructive criticism well.

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Must be 18 years old.

Have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.

Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment.

Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.
