OverviewWe are hiring Production Assemblers (Entry-Level Manufacturing Associates) in Richmond, VA to support a fast-paced UPS production line. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking warehouse jobs, assembly jobs, or manufacturing careers with growth potential.
As a Production Assembler I, you will build high-quality products while meeting production goals, safety standards, and customer specifications.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble products using engineering drawings and work instructions
Meet daily production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines
Operate computer systems to track schedules and update job status
Perform Go/No-Go testing and basic quality inspections
Monitor parts and materials for defects during assembly
Support material handling and production line operations
Complete required documentation (production logs, quality records, reject tickets)
Collaborate with engineering and production teams
Assist with training new employees
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety policies and manufacturing procedures
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required
0–2 years of experience in:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Work Environment & ScheduleWork on a UPS production line (industrial/manufacturing setting)
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Flexible availability preferred (overtime or shift changes may be required)
New Hire Orientation (NEO)2-day paid orientation required
Begins at 7:50 AM (bi-weekly schedule)
After completion, employees transition to assigned shift
Compensation & BenefitsPay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
