Job description

Cook / Culinary Specialist – Full Time Days

Work Schedule: 7am-5pm 10-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation.

What You’ll Do:

As a Cook/Culinary Specialist, you will:

  • Prepare and cook meals that meet patients’ dietary needs

  • Ensure food quality, safety, and presentation standards

  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and care team

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

  • Support a compassionate dining experience for patients and families

  • Document tasks and communicate with team members as needed

Qualifications for Entry-Level Cook:

  • General education degree (GED) or High School diploma.
  • At least one year of related experience and / or training. in preparing and cooking food.
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly communicate and document daily tasks.
  • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
  • Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record.
  • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen
