Job description

Responds to a high volume of telephone calls including scheduling the appropriate medical exams and tests and fulfilling report requests; and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Answers and triage calls accordingly.
  • Schedules patient appointments and remind patients of necessary items to bring including their referral, medications.
  • Writes messages and assure charts are pulled and taken to the technicians.
  • Handles inquiries about insurances accepted, office hours, services, locations, exam fees, doctor information, etc.
  • Enters referral information into the computer system

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
