Job description

The Lineage Data Science team seeks interested parties to improve Lineage's computer vision technologies. You will join a small team that is responsible for our computer vision systems from end-to-end, from photons hitting the camera to results integrated with downstream decision-making systems. Your work will involve training and maintaining computer vision models, writing software
to serve those models, and ensuring that the combined system operates smoothly in production. Your work will run both on on-premise servers and in the cloud to power our 24/7, cutting-edge automated facilities in production and directly help tens of millions of pounds of food per week make its way to grocery stores and restaurants around the globe

This is a REMOTE opportunity.

Required

demonstrated strong programming ability in Python.

strong skills in computer vision and machine learning.

experience managing the machine learning lifecycle, from labeling to model training, deployment, monitoring, scaling, and iteration.

the ability to identify and solve problems independently.

strong critical thinking skills.

Preferred

An advanced degree in a technical field.

Experience with Linux command line tools and bash.

Experience with C++.

Experience managing software systems in production.
