What You’ll DoDrive Innovation in Autonomous Manipulation: Lead the research, prototyping, and deployment of advanced robotics algorithms for manufacturing, focusing on learning-based approaches for dexterous manipulation, including Learning from Demonstration (LfD) and Reinforcement Learning (RL).
Architect AI Development Infrastructure: Design and implement scalable infrastructure across the AI lifecycle, including data collection/teleoperation pipelines, high-fidelity simulation environments, logging frameworks, and visualization tools.
Translate Research to Strategy: Stay current with state-of-the-art academic research in robotics and machine learning, translating relevant breakthroughs into actionable technical strategies and product capabilities.
Champion Software Rigor: Set and enforce software engineering best practices across both rapid R&D prototyping and production codebases, ensuring high code quality, modularity, and maintainability.
Lead Cross-Domain Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (hardware, mechanical, electrical, software) to solve complex, system-level robotics challenges.
Productize Cutting-Edge R&D: Collaborate directly with the product and sales teams to turn experimental algorithms into reliable, scalable, and customer-ready manufacturing features.
Core qualifications
Advanced Foundation in ML/RL: Master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent industry experience in Computer Science, Robotics, or Machine Learning, with deep expertise in Reinforcement Learning or Learning from Demonstration (LfD).
Software skills: Proven ability to apply core object-oriented programming concepts to build functional systems, systematically debug complex issues, and get experimental R&D pipelines working effectively.

Hands-on Robotics: Direct experience with physical robots, manipulation hardware setups, and sensor-motor integration in manufacturing contexts.

Ce que vous ferez:
Stimuler l'innovation en manipulation autonome : Diriger la recherche, le prototypage et le déploiement d'algorithmes robotiques avancés pour le secteur manufacturier, en vous concentrant sur les approches basées sur l'apprentissage pour la manipulation dextre, notamment l'apprentissage par démonstration (Learning from Demonstration - LfD) et l'apprentissage par renforcement (Reinforcement Learning - RL).
Concevoir l'infrastructure de développement d'IA : Concevoir et mettre en œuvre une infrastructure évolutive tout au long du cycle de vie de l'IA, incluant les pipelines de collecte de données et de téléopération, les environnements de simulation haute fidélité, les cadres de journalisation (logging) et les outils de visualisation.
Traduire la recherche en stratégie : Assurer une veille constante sur la recherche académique à l'état de l'art en robotique et en apprentissage automatique (Machine Learning), et traduire les percées pertinentes en stratégies techniques concrètes et en fonctionnalités produit.
Incarner la rigueur logicielle : Établir et faire appliquer les meilleures pratiques de génie logiciel, tant pour le prototypage rapide en R&D que pour les bases de code en production, afin de garantir une qualité de code, une modularité et une maintenabilité élevées.
Mener la collaboration technique multidisciplinaire : Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes d'ingénierie pluridisciplinaires (matériel, mécanique, électrique, logiciel) pour résoudre des défis robotiques complexes à l'échelle du système.
Industrialiser la R&D de pointe : Travailler directement avec les équipes produit et commerciales pour transformer des algorithmes expérimentaux en fonctionnalités manufacturières fiables, évolutives et prêtes pour les clients.
Qualifications requises
Solides bases avancées en ML/RL : Maîtrise, doctorat ou expérience industrielle équivalente en informatique, robotique ou apprentissage automatique, avec une expertise approfondie en apprentissage par renforcement (RL) ou en apprentissage par démonstration (LfD).
Compétences logicielles : Capacité éprouvée à appliquer les concepts fondamentaux de la programmation orientée objet pour concevoir des systèmes fonctionnels, déboguer méthodiquement des problèmes complexes et faire fonctionner efficacement des pipelines de R&D expérimentaux.
Atouts (pouvant être développés en poste)
Expérience pratique en robotique : Expérience directe avec des robots physiques, des configurations matérielles de manipulation et l'intégration sensori-motrice dans un contexte manufacturier.
