Work Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule of nine (9) hours per day, Monday through Thursday, and four (4) hours on Friday. Overtime may be required on short notice to meet project deadlines

Purpose

CAD Technicians will work alongside an experienced team of engineers, surveyors, designers, and technicians to produce a variety of drawings, maps, and layouts for pipeline projects. This is an entrylevel position responsible for completing routine drafting tasks using AutoCAD.

Successful candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail and solid computer skills. CAD Technicians are expected to continuously learn, develop, and expand their technical and drafting abilities while supporting project requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create, edit, and maintain engineering design drawings and survey maps.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications to create, edit, and maintain spreadsheets and technical documents.
  • Maintain clientspecific CAD standards, file organization, and workspace settings.
  • Perform printing and reproduction tasks, including printing and scanning documents of various sizes using company printers, plotters, scanners, and copiers.
  • Participate in CAD training sessions and actively learn new software tools, techniques, and workflows to improve the quality and efficiency of drawings and maps.
  • Gather information by observing, receiving, and obtaining data from all relevant project resources, including internal teams and project documentation.
  • Associate’s degree or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field.
  • Basic or introductory knowledge of CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to learn, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet project demands.
