Responsibilities
EDI Business Systems Analyst
Massillon, OH (Hybrid Schedule)
This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring our electronic data interchange systems which include documenting and improving business processes, supporting software data exchanges within the organization and externally to our customers. Business Systems Analysts readily see the overall business picture and deal with undefined situations holistically. They perform their role with a structured approach to analysis and problem solving.
An electronic data interchange (EDI) analyst facilitates the exchange of electronic data within a company or between two entities by exchanging data for orders, invoices, inventory and shipping documents. This position is ideal for those who love to solve problems and work with computers. This position will work full-time in an office environment but often interact with other departments, customers, or project team members.
Your seat at the table:
  • Meeting with customers to discuss their data interchange needs.
  • Analyzing business systems and data interchanges required
  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Building customized data interchange systems for cross-company or department use.
  • Testing and debugging the system.
  • Gathering user feedback on the accuracy, efficiency, and functionality of the system.
  • Adjusting and customizing the system based on user feedback.
  • Deploying completed systems and providing maintenance support.
  • Training end-users on the proper use of the system.

Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in EDI, business systems analysis, or a related technical role.
  • Knowledge in software programming and coding languages including XML, CSV, and SQL.
  • Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with SQL Server and capability to design SQL queries
  • Ability to project manage and work with large teams.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project management fundamentals in documentation and support key projects
  • Ability to use PowerShell
  • Experience with EDI standards (such as X12 or EDIFACT)
