About the role:

As a Nuclear Technician you will Assist engineers and other higher classified personnel in technical type functions related to the generation, assemblage, and verification of nuclear analysis information. This environment will allow you to excel in an exciting AWSE Union opportunity.

You will report to the Manager, RV &CV Design and Analysis- Reactor Component Engineering and be located at Cranberry, PA in a hybrid capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will identify engineering work which requires a high degree of manipulative or other special skills acquired through experience,coupled with technical training and application of knowledge in the area of specialization.
  • You will support engineering work which requires a high degree of manipulative or other specific skills acquired.
  • Support the analysis, summarization, and preparation of data into written and graphic form requiring calculations involving the use of basic algebraic formulae and trigonometric functions.
  • Review computer program input using computer input sheets or specific check programs.
  • Help prepare computer input alterations and modifications based on information derived from initial raw data analysis.
Qualifications:
  • We prefer a Technical curriculum for an Associate's Degree.
  • Must Haves 2 courses in Math and 2 courses in Physics OR 60 College Credits in an Engineering Curriculum with 2 courses in Math and 2 courses in Physics
