Job Title: Entry-Level Clinical Research Recruitment Specialist๏ปฟ

Job Description

This entry-level role focuses on supporting clinical research studies by recruiting and engaging potential volunteers, managing study-related inquiries, and coordinating outreach activities. The position plays a key part in connecting community members with clinical trials and ensuring that recruitment efforts are professional, ethical, and aligned with study requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Answer the dedicated advertisement phone line and respond to emails from prospective study volunteers in a professional and timely manner.

  • Provide clear, detailed information about specific clinical studies using approved scripts and materials.

  • Document basic demographic and contact details for prospective volunteers and ensure information is accurate and complete.

  • Add potential volunteers to the internal database system and maintain up-to-date records.

  • Place flyers and brochures in the community to promote ongoing and upcoming studies.

  • Attend community events to advertise new studies and engage with potential participants.

  • Plan and coordinate recruitment efforts in collaboration with administration and clinical research team members.

  • Review and understand protocol inclusion and exclusion criteria, informed consent forms, and study schedules to ensure appropriate recruitment.

  • Recruit volunteers for studies in a professional manner, clearly and succinctly communicating approved protocol information to prospective subjects.

  • Create or assist in creating generic and study-specific advertisements and recruiting campaigns in print and social media, ensuring all materials meet ethical guidelines.

  • Update and maintain study-specific recruitment information in the Clinical Trial Management System.

  • Place and maintain advertising across various channels, including flyers, newspapers, web-based ads, and list server emails, while adhering to study budget parameters.

  • Assist in tracking advertising efforts, including placement costs and return on investment for recruitment activities.

  • Schedule appointments for prospective research subjects for briefings and screenings, and follow up with individuals who miss appointments to reschedule or close out the encounter.

  • Use computer skills to create forms, reports, and advertisements that support recruitment activities.

  • Initiate and implement new advertising venues, including approved social media outlets, to expand recruitment reach.

  • Communicate recruitment efforts, advertising activities, and scheduled visits clearly with the study team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
