Job description

The Opportunity:Entry-level position; handle products from inbound through outbound processes, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and cycle counting. Use computer equipment or RDTs with a handheld scanner to manage transactions for your job function. You might need to use a powered industrial truck to process transactions. Attention to detail is required for accurate transactions. Must maintain certain production standards in your job function.

What we're looking for

Education: High School education or GED required.

Experience: Entry level 1-2 years' experience - Open to those who are eager to start their career in the warehouse industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification a plus.

  • Warehouse / distribution experience a plus.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

  • Equipment with MHE, such as reach truck operators and order pickers, is a plus.

  • Must be able to use proper techniques to lift 50 pounds. The ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety is extremely important.

  • Must be able to use hands and feet simultaneously and for repetitive movements.

  • Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.

How you will thrive and create an impact

  • Obtains and reads packing lists, pick tickets or other paperwork to determine the function that needs to be performed.

  • Maneuvers powered industrial trucks to various locations throughout the shipping/receiving and manufacturing plant based on function being done as required.

  • Takes and places products into proper location based on transaction being performed. Ensure that product matches SKU and Units of Measure. Verifies that quantities are correct on all transactions.

  • Checks visually to ensure products are in saleable condition and damage-free. Remove problem items, when appropriate.

  • Completes paper documentation requirements for job function.
    Notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise.

  • Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean, and orderly.

  • Performs daily pre-trip inspection safety checks on powered industrial truck prior to use as required.

  • Demonstrates dependability, safety consciousness and quality at or above standards, willingness to maintain flexibility and perform multiple warehouse functions as needed with a sense of urgency and consistently performs as expected.

  • Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction including maintaining sufficient employee relations and teamwork.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned or required.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$35,500.00 - $56,925.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
