Assistant to CAS Administrative & Engagement Coordinator

Division: CAS Department: Dean's Office Experience: Entry-level

Job Code:TBD Supervisor/Reports To: Hannah Justice

Requested Start Date: 8/24/2026

The candidate's main role is to assist the College of Arts & Sciences with duties pertaining to all CAS event organizations upon request. The College of Arts & Sciences is made up of three departments (Humanities, Math & Science, and Social Sciences) with many programs that fall under these departments; all events that require assistance (upon request from CAS faculty) will be facilitated by CAS Administrative & Engagement Coordinator and assistant(s).

Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

  1. Putting together smaller packets/materials for event purposes (educational worksheets provided by faculty, UPIKE swag bags/items for tables, etc.) - C, TW, P
  2. Moving equipment to and from event (smaller scale) - must be able to accommodate and communicate all academic conflicts with events in a timely fashion - C, TW, P, CT
  3. Create flyers (as assigned) for events and receive feedback for edits by CAS Engagement & Administrative Coordinator - C, TW, P, CT, T
  4. Hanging up flyers and posters on appropriate bulletin boards on campus in a timely manner prior to event - C, TW, P
  5. Work as greeters & man tables at larger scale events where CAS Engagement & Administrative Coordinator is present and occupied with other event related tasks - C, TW, P, L, CTR
